Aldamar Hotel - San Sebastian

Aldamar proved to be a good stay with its fantastic location just a short walk from the beach and numerous local tapas bars. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for exploring the area. I thoroughly enjoyed the free coffee available at all hours.

that was friendly and lovely hotel set in nice area, near to the market, main shopping areas and the pinxtos bars, beaches. i liked the room, it was beautiful with balcony, spacious bathroom and a king-size bed. the location was great and unbeatable, really close to victoria eugenia theater.

Charming Stay in the Heart of San Sebastián!

We loved our time in this beautifully maintained spot. The staff was helpful, recommending local tapas bars . The shower was a highlight, with excellent pressure. Don't miss the nearby supermarket for quick snacks!

great access to everything

The location of Aldamar Hotel is its biggest asset, as it's just a short walk to major attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated having access to a Lavazza coffee machine in the common area. It's a perfect pick-me-up after exploring the city. I also managed to soak up the vibrant atmosphere at a local indoor food market just around the corner.

My room was somewhat small, and it was a bit of a challenge navigating the space with two suitcases. I did find the soundproofing between rooms to be lacking, as I could hear conversations from neighboring guests at times. The bathroom needed a thorough cleaning, and I noticed a bit of mold in the grout, slightly disappointing for an otherwise lovely stay.

Noise from neighboring rooms could be disruptive at times!!! Soundproofing definitely needs improvement, especially with inconsiderate guests. Beds could use a thorough inspection, I found beach sand on the sheets!!! More attention needed for cleanliness!!!

Just a balanced option for a hurried visit in San Sebastian with value for price. The mini balcony was perfect for sipping morning coffee and soaking in the ambiance. Check out the local pinxto bars. They're really close by!

Even after the upgrade, the noise from the air conditioning unit was disruptive at times, impacting sleep quality.
